It's up for sale! All of my dreams have come true...

Hay gaiz! Guess what??! My threadless shirt WON! I got mucho dinero and $300 credit to threadless.com.... and I couldn't have done it without you! You can't buy it yet or anything, though, 'cause they normally take about 2 to 3 months to get printed. Stay tuned for more info.

Anyways, my month has been made. I'm gonna use the money to pay off a small fraction of my credit card (..sigh.....).

I've noticed that my artwork all tends to be bird-themed..... which is strange, considering I don't really have a special affinity for our avian friends. Anyways, here's one last hurrah for birds and then I promise I'll stop.

I'm alive, deviant art! I'm alive!

I finally finished a commission, and I've started the second...... Lets see if I can make it to the third by June!

I got a new job, and I'm finally pretty happy with my lot in life. Seattle is much nicer in the summer than it is in the winter, and I think that might have something to do with my change of attitude. I have a lot more time to do things, too, thanks to the fact that my workload has gone down from 50 hours a week to a mere 30.... and I'm still making the same net income! Woo!

My goal for the summer is to become a lot more involved in DeviantArt again. I don't respond to comments and favorites nearly as often as I'd like, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate them! Thank you SO much to everyone who's been so supportive of my art, and who let me know that they appreciate the (minimal amount of) work I do! I promise I'll start showing a little more appreciation

The three spaces available commission spaces I had have been filled! Hoo-ray. I'm like 70% done with the first one, and I'm really happy with how its turning out. Unfortunately I'm going to have to put a hold on them for at least this week because I landed a pretty sweet gig doing promotional postcards for the Seattle Symphony and Starbucks! Sha-WING! I don't get paid, of course, but who wouldn't leap at the chance to have their artwork sitting in piles on every counter across the city?

In other news, I miss my old job back in Reno as a graphic designer, but I definitely don't miss Reno. Ah well, you win some you lose some.
