Peter Pan is cool. He can fly. He fights pirates. He has his own fairy. He makes out with mermaids. He has his own cult following of little boys in animal skins. He lives in a tree house. I don't know about you guys, but I wanted MORE THAN ANYTHING to be Peter Pan when I was growing up.
Do you guys remember the Peter Pan cartoon that was on in the early 90's? I didn't get to watch it all that often because my parents had a lock on TV, but the few times I *did* see it, I remember thinking "This is a lot cooler than that Disney version. This Peter Pan doesn't look like he's going to dance a ballet. He looks like he's going to kill some pirates." In the spirit of THAT Peter Pan, I give you MY Peter Pan. He's got tattoos.
I'm pretty proud of this mostly because of the background. I actually LIKE it. I don't think I've ever done a picture with a background that I really liked.
sometimes i see stuff on dtf that i think shouldn't be there, and sometimes i see stuff that isn't on there that should be, and i think this definitly of the latter category
Wow, I love this style!! ^.^ Maybe because I've been reminiscent of my N64 games recently.....*Mario, Banjo Tooie, Zelda...*
Awesome work, yes. The computer doesn't like me that much. ;

Move on forward and never look back....it really does a number on your neck.
He's everything Peter should be. I'm not a big fan of some aspects of his face, but that's just because anime influence often squicks me a bit. It does capture a certain boyish innocence that's definately needed for Peter though, without making him cherubic, which is much worse. His tattoos are great.
Tink is lovely, I love the long wings - most people tend to make her like the Disney version, and that gets awfully old after a while.
The angle of the rainbow really adds a dynamic quality to the background, and gives it a little bit of childish excitement that I think makes the picture that much more lovable.
...Good lord, I keep staring at his skin and trying to understand how that's done.. o_O That's a lotta layers of color. Love it!
Love the shading and coloring in this........it's the little details you add that make it so cool. I won't lie, I still like the Robin Williams version, "HOOK"!

That's like one more thing than link could do in Ocarina of Time! Man, that IS cool
I love the tattoos... especially the rooster one. The circular background was a good move, too. Way to go! :3
