oh holy SHIT I'm submitting art. Whoah. Dude.

I finished this in the spring, but didn't really do anything with it until now. I threw in a bg via photoshop, but I didn't put this in the digital art section because the background, uh, isn't the focus (just in case there are some of those category nazis lurking who like to inform me that they moved such-and-such a piece into my scraps section). It was inspired by Jillian Tamaki, who is my new idol. Sigh. I wish I could only be half as awesome as she is.

Watercolors, ink, and a little springtime inspiration.

the color selections work well for the theme
the position of the feet, hands, the drink and clothing portray a thick and quirky picture. love the gloves. nice work

That's sweet, reminds me of a childrens book I read as a child, Beatrix Potter was the author I can't remember the particular book that it reminds me of. I love your color pallete. It's beautiful.
