More art for work. The international club is showing Amelie, and I've been wanting to do fan art for this movie for a while now......so I did this!

I used references of Audrey Tatou, Mathieu Kassovitz, the eiffel tower and the white building (Sacre-something). I REALLY like how Amelie looks, but Nino came out looking like just-some-generic-guy instead of Nino. I also like how the design aspect of this came out, with the lettering and spots and whatnot. I didn't really have anything in mind for the extra fru-fru stuff when I started out, and I like the result.

Holy COW I love this movie so much. If you haven't seen Amelie, you are missing out to the millionth degree. Amelie is and always be my favorite movie of all time, even higher up there than Porco Rosso.

That's absolutely beautiful. The style of it is wonderfully original and clean, I really like how you did their faces and the cutout feel to the whole thing. The spindly detail of the tower is awesome.

i _love_ amelie \o/ and you've captured her perfectly here, she looks like she's plotting something :D i'd agree that nino doesn't quite look like nino.. but anyone who hasn't seen the film wouldn't know in the first place, and anyone who has will assume it's him anyway, cos it's not that far off you know?

also loving the green swirly bit, and the bunny cloud :D
