I have a thing for hamsters. Ever since I was about 7, when I got my first one (his name was Timothy), I've thought of hamsters as the end-all-be-all in cuteness. And now that I'm 21.....well, not much has changed.
I used to feed my hamsters enormous things purposely to watch them try and shove it into their cheeks-- haha, I'm so bad. One time I gave my hamster the end of some yarn, and it took the whole ball into its cheeks like spaghetti. Then I pulled the end of the yarn and it just keep coming....and coming....and coming.......
Ahem. We went to the pet store the other day, and I was reminded of why hamsters rock so hard, so I came home and did some doodles. Four hamsters. For your viewing enjoyment.
I love the carrot one, and for just a second my warped little mind went, "Hey, why is that hamster putting a shotgun shell in his mouth? That's just weird." HAHAHA.
Then I looked at it again and saw the word carrot and realized that I was the weird one but still felt no embarassment at all about telling you about it. Hhhmmm.
I think it would be really fun to see a whole series of "Hamsters trying to fit things in their mouths". You could do humorous ones like gernades and other small explosive devices , and then do really off the wall things, like oh I don't know...um, spatulas or tire irons, or I don't know...whatever! Putting anything with a hamster just makes it cuter!
Keep em' coming!
OBTW...I've yet to comment on your signature chicken at the top but I really like it. Very simple and concise.
Cute! I used to have a hamster... stupidly called tails (poor sod.. kids eh?) not because of a certain fox... but because i was so amused by the little stump of a tail. I love how they shove everything into their mouth and hid it in their nest
Sweet image... reminds me of a manga i'm reading about a hamster
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
