Yet ANOTHER thing for posters. This one's for the Manor Hall garden party coming up after finals......woo.
I just ate too much chocolate. And I have to go to work. Bah.
_______
EDIT: I added a border-ey rough-thing.....I hope all you guys that added it to your favorites already or commented aren't like, "UGH. Don't like it so much anymore." But the final poster version wound up getting the rough-border treatment, so I though it would be only right to update it here too. If you fancy seeing the final version, you can check it out here. I spent SO MUCH FUCKING TIME on those letters...I had to edit each one individually to get it look all psychedelic like that. But I like the end product, so bah.
Cool, magpies are one of my favourite types of birds. The colours in this one are lovely, and the graphic design-like flowers look great against the bird. Sweet job!
i really like the classical look of this one... the intentional use us simple shapes and the way the background fades up into the picture, as well as the bird talons... excellent
I like the wings of the bird.... It looks very accurate to what a bird looks like, and this painting itself is a bit abstract with the plain colors blending in with the rest of the picture like the dandilion there .... It has this like glow around it and the clear circles look like.... Wow.... Dude great job ^_^.....
i like magpies, too bad they're all going to die when the West Nile Virus makes it;s rounds in a few weeks...
In any case, it has a paper-cutout feel to it, which makes it feel soft and warm. The tones are earthy and warm as well, and it makes a welcoming feel to it...
oh i really like this one. the thin direct lines and the subtle texture you added most specifically!
mr magpie looks like hes smiling - how adorable!
wonderful work! it almost reminds me of an ukiyo-e print!
