Poster for a play here in town. Very fun! I spent waaay too much time on the details for my own good, but I like how it came out.

Emerald and the Dead Fishermen by ~chibighibli is an amazing concept, full of details, with a great illustration and a nice play with typography. The textures and the colors together send us back to the great vintage years. Dreamy design for a Theatre poster! (Featured by ^NunoDias)

Your typography work really is stunning. The tiny throughs between the dates & times are really tickling me—did you hand-draw the little ruled lines? I'd love to know how you achieved that subtle effect. The caps on "August", "Thursdays" and "Saturdays" look sort of custom as well?

The little lines are hand drawn, yes. I wish I custom made the font used in the dates, but it's Hoefler Text Swash Italic-- a gorgeous font from a gorgeous typehouse. Thanks for the kind words!
