Bilocal - Dedra Johnson Memoir

I participated in a collaborative art show (Bilocal) between New Orleans writers and Seattle poster artists. I created this poster based on Dedra Johnson's memoir about growing up and learning to fend for yourself.

I had fun researching Crepe Myrtle trees. We don't have those on the west coast.
